Scripture for tonight Luke 6:28. There will be people we encounter who choose to treat you unkind, misuse you, or maliciously do things to hurt you. With everything else going on in the world there will still be people who feel they need to spend time doing those things to prove a point, obligate an offense, or just to be outright mean. Never allow those people to dissuade you to treat them any other way than the right way. It's easier said than done. It's also hard to resist the urge to vindicate yourself, but it's okay. You can do it. Not everything/ everyone deserves a direct response. Just pray for them. You never know what people are dealing with on the inside. Some people are fighting silent battles you couldn't even imagine would be happening to them and their only way of releasing their frustrations is by doing things to hurt you. Hurt people, HURT PEOPLE. Tonight and every night I pray for the people who are connected to me in some type of way. Spending time trying to get back at people and trying to figure out why people operate the way they do will drain the life out of you. All the while they're carrying on with their lives. Every action doesn't have to result in a reaction from you. Turning the other cheek isn't a sign of weakness, but it's a sign of strength and maturity. Always remember that prayer changes things. Your prayers activate Gods response. Supernaturally God is handling everything on your behalf. He is raising up the right people to connect you with and allowing those you need to disconnect with to remove themselves from the equation. It's hard, I know...sometimes you really just want to hurt people like they hurt you. Before you react ask yourself this question, "Is it worth me losing my peace?" #ConversationsWithJesus #PerfectPeace #LoveChelCy #BlessThoseWhoCurseYou #ChoosingToBeChristLikeWhenTheEnemyIsTryingToSpreadDiscourse #MyPrayersMatter #somebodyneededthis
