Day 3.
Jehovah El Eloheim Tsaba, God of Hosts.
Today I received confirmation of what I've learned the past two days. God is indeed in control. Hosts means armies. Jehovah is the God of armies. He is the head and He is indeed in control! He has the power and the strength to command us when to fight and when to be still. God keeps us from harms way. He sends out those He needs to diffuse the situation and by His strength they have the power to prevail.
It makes me believe that anything God said I can do, I can do it. It doesn't matter how difficult things may seem. It doesn't even matter if I'm the "weakest link"; where I am weak God makes me strong. When God is in control of the "fight", I have no room for fear because His grace is sufficient enough to bring me through any trial or test I may be going through.
There is only so much a person can go through before they realize that some battles aren't meant to fight alone. There's only one man I know who's powerful enough to send out a praise team, before the soldiers, in the midst of a battle. When you serve a God like that what could possibly make you worry?
My confidence in God is going to a completely new level. Why should I be afraid of anything when God is right there with me? I trust God with my life, I can't say that about other people. I don't have to worry about anything or anyone wronging me; because God will handle them. He will chastise and punish them or even me, if I'm the transgressor.
Today I encourage you to be yourself. Trust that God is in control, and never stop being who you are based on how people are treating you. If your heart is good towards other people, don't allow the way they treat you turn you into someone else. Good people are hard to come by.
Don't allow the enemy to come in and persuade you into thinking you always have to fight. Yes, sometimes we will have to fight, spiritually. We have to tap into the spiritual realm so that God will show up on the scene and give us the power and the revelation we need to handle the situation the right way. Some battles aren't meant to be fought. God gives us the spirit of discernment. We know right from wrong and if we allow ourselves to listen to Gods voice we will know when to move and when to allow Him to fight for us. Jehovah El Eloheim Tsaba, the Lord God of Hosts.
“Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.”
Psalms 59:5 KJV
“Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.”
Psalms 59:7-10, 16-17 KJV
