Day 15.
Elohim Kedoshim, The Holy God.
Have you ever received the comment that "You're so Holy"? For instance, has anyone ever said to you, "oh, I thought you couldn't wear a pair of shorts and show your legs; because you're so holy"? At first, comments like that really use to frustrate me. Now that I'm growing in my walk I realize that people make comments like those out of their own ignorance. It's okay to let people say whatever they want to say. I no longer get mad or annoyed by that statement. I'm glad people feel I'm too holy to do certain things. It proves to me the way I choose to live my life sets an example of how I'm supposed to live my life. It in a sense keeps me in check and reminds me that I need to continue to be more like God.
He didn't wallow in fear and suffer from anxiety. God is confident. He knows that what we see now is not all we'll experience. He knows that greater is coming. He doesn't get stressed out. He trusts the process. He he doesn't fear. He does not sin and although it's hard to keep from temptation, it's fairly easy not to sin. Sin is a choice. God is a holy God. He keeps himself set apart because He is purposed.
Today I encourage you to do whatever it takes to be more like God; to be set apart! Temptation may come, people may even try to persuade you to sin. Remember your life is choice driven. You have the power to deflect from anything that will keep you out of the will of God for your life. Everyday I ask God to cleanse me and purify my heart. I don't want to be the same old vessel. I want to be more like God.
Elohim Kedoshim -The Holy God.
“And Joshua said to the people, You cannot serve the Lord, for He is a holy God; He is a jealous God. He will not forgive your transgressions or your sins.”
Joshua 24:19 AMP
