What I Found In The Wreckage

Last night while riding home I witnessed what ALMOST could have been an extremely horrible accident.
A crazy driver swerved in and out of lanes coming up close to each car that was "in their way". Literally mashing on the breaks when they were just about to rear end the car in front of them. My cousin and I both said to each other, it doesn't make sense for people to drive like that and that's how people end up causing a wreck.
It wasn't even a minute later when the speeding car broke away from the far left lane, into the middle of the center lane and the right hand lane hitting both the car in the center lane and the car in the right hand lane. The speeding car swerved as it hit both the cars and made a 180 degree turn.
As the speeding car sped away, the car in the right hand lane lost control and completely turned around, drifting into the median of grass going full speed ahead into southbound traffic;by the grace of God the car stopped before it went into traffic. My cousin and I pulled over. She ran to see if the driver was okay and I called the police.
Before the dispatcher answered the phone and in-between him transferring me to the local police dispatchers I did the only thing I knew how to do. I prayed. God is the only man I know who can show up on the scene without being seen and cause the miraculous to happen. So I prayed!
The driver was just a little shaken up. No bruises, no cuts, no scars, still living, walking, and breathing-Hallelujah! His car received minor damage and was still drivable. As for the second car the speeding car hit, they kept driving along with the speeding car. It took the police over 30minutes to show up to the scene and they didn't do too much of anything. Just asked what happened and suggested the driver go to a body shop to fix the damages instead of filing on his insurance. Because no one saw the license plate they didn't even take a witness report.
Last night was the first night I've ever witnessed a wreck aside from me being in one. To witness what happened, to envision what could have happened, and to see the outcome taught me a few things. One, it could've been us. Two, just like the speeding driver, we have a choice to try to find the easy way to do something/the fastest way to complete a task or we can go the speed limit and allow the allotted time designed for us to reach our destination to transpire. A lot of people are going nowhere fast and hurting people along the way without caring enough to stop and make sure they're okay. I pray that you find God, you find yourself, and you change your ways if that's you. The third thing I learned was the devil has the power to blindside you at any given time in attempt to throw you off course and prevent you from your destiny. However, There's nothing the devil can do to you that God can't protect you from. Lastly, God will always send his people to witness on your behalf.
Understand that God has a plan for your life. There is only one person who can keep you from reaching your maximum potential...YOU! You have the choice to speed through life and try to make a way for yourself like the speeding driver. On the other hand, you have the choice to be a safe driver while driving your speed limit, in your lane according to Gods divine purpose and plan for your life.
I'm always joking with my boyfriend when I feel he's delving too much into my business and say, "You're swerving! Stay in your lane - I've got my lane, you just handle what's in yours." Last night I realized I may not always be able to control what comes into my lame, but I can trust in God and believe That he will protect me from the snare of the enemy.
God is not a respecter of persons. What he does for me he will do the same for you, you just have to trust the process is working in the light of your favor because you are HIS!
Love,
