When God tells you to do something, you just do it!

When God tells you to do something, you just do it. It doesn't matter who leaves you. It doesn't matter who supports your vision. Nothing matters but your conviction towards the will of God. Sometimes I get caught up in the thought of so many people no longer being apart of my life; but it was never about those people. Gods promise didn't say that the people who've been apart of my life will stay. He said he'll bring the right people into my life. Gods word didn't say that people won't talk about me; but it tells me how to withstand persecution. Gods word didn't tell me I wouldn't be lied to, lied on, mistreated and misused...His word confirms that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and he will make my enemies my footstool. "Matthew 5:2-16 KJV [2] And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, [3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. [5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. [6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. [7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. [8] Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. [10] Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you , and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. [13] Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. " "Isaiah 54:17 KJV [17] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord . " "Acts 2:34-35 KJV [34] For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, [35] Until I make thy foes thy footstool." I understand that people will talk, people will leave, rocks will be thrown and there are many difficult challenges I will have to face because instead of operating in faith I've been operating in my flesh. Instead of leading by example I've just been living like I don't know the power of the God that I serve.

One thing I've learned thus far, throughout this process is that those who are "for you" will stay. Don't give up on your purpose because you're afraid of losing people; not everyone is meant to be apart of your life. Sometimes we lose people because those people we think we've lost just doesn't have time to deal with our foolishness. If you knew better you would do better but you continuously chose to do wrong -not everyone will be willing to sit and watch you self destruct. Some people simply just don't want to be involved with it! I know I'm not living right when I notice I'm more angry than I am happy...lately I've just been waking up in a bad mood. Nobody has to even come near me or speak to me...I've just been caught up in a funk. Before I continue to allow the devil to have power over my life, I'll fight back! I haven't did a spiritual cleanse in a while (which is probably why my life isn't in order) but here's how it goes: Ten days of constant prayer, devotionals, Christian & gospel music only, no reality tv (it's poison and I don't watch it unless it's of Christians/Gospel Artists), listening to the word of God, reading the word of God, and writing out your emotions every day. Most times I do this cleanse intimately and just share my Devotionals. This time around I'll publicly share what I do. Why? Some people aren't disciplined enough to do things alone. Sometimes we just need a shoulder to lean on and someone to encourage us to stick with it. Some people just don't know where to begin. To some it may seem like a huge sacrifice but honestly the way you'll feel after the 10 day period you won't want it to end. I'm going to call this one my "Freedom Cleanse" since I've been feeling bound by so many different things that I know is only an attack from the enemy. "Galatians 5:1 KJV [1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Schedule: Morning prayer 6:30am & Corporate prayer call 6:45am (800) 927-9434 Morning Devotional -check my Instagram: @love.chelcy Lunch Break is now your praise break -if you're at work put in your headphones and listen to a podcast of any sermon. If there is a theme for the day and there is a specific sermon I'm listening to I will post the link for you to either purchase or download that particular sermon. Some churches allow you to go online and listen to a rebroadcast of some of their church services. Also, almost all churches have a bookstore, make it your duty to purchase a CD or two for this hour of your day. If you're at home and you have DISH or Direct TV tune into the Impact Network, The Word network, or TBN. Make it happen! God pays attention to our sacrifice. Listen for 1hr. If your lunch break is only 30 minutes listen on your lunch break, on your way home, while you're in the shower or preparing dinner. This part is important! Mid Day prayer. Stop what you're doing at some point and just pray. If you're beginning to feel overwhelmed -pray! No matter how you're feeling, kids are getting on your nerves? PRAY! It doesn't have to be long and elaborate just have a conversation with God. Throughout these 10 days we'll be working on our prayer life and getting comfortable in understanding how important our relationship is with God. "Philippians 4:6-7 KJV [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Evening Praise and Worship. Turn on your gospel music and just allow the presence of the Holy Spirit to enter into your home or wherever it is you feel comfortable worshipping God. It may be your prayer closet. It may even be your bedroom... It's just a place for you and the Holy Spirit to interact. If you're not filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit... Talk with God and tell Him you want to feel His presence. Go up for the appeals at church and allow the ministers to pray for and with you. How do you know you're filled with the Holy Spirit? By the evidence of Speaking In Tongues; It flows from your heart. I typically worship at the end of my day when I have nothing else to do. I cut my music up really loud and I pray in the spirit. I give thanks to God and I praise him with my dance. I do this for an hour or two and then I start my nightly routine. Once you're in the bed for the night and have finished everything you needed to do grab a notebook or open your notebook on your electronic device and write out how you felt on that particular day, starting at when you woke up. This part is like a mental detox. Sometimes we bottle in our feelings never wanting to let them go; but the only way to have a clear head and have peace is to let go of all the negativity. That includes anything that stresses you out. Once you're finished, close your notebook and put it somewhere within reach for in the morning. Bedtime prayer and supplication. Before you go to sleep say your prayers. Afterwards open your bible and begin to read. I read until I fall asleep and sometimes if I'm too tired at the end of the day to physically read my bible, I listen to my audio bible and listen to it until I fall asleep. The next morning, set your alarm clock to wake you up for 6:30am prayer. This time around take your notebook, place your hand over it and pray over those things you wrote in it along with anything else you feel the need to pray for. Don't forget to give thanks! Show God that you appreciate Him! Now you're ready to follow the schedule all over again for the next 8 days! Honestly, these cleanses keep me sane. Typically once I get into the swing of things the cleanse turns into a lifestyle change and everything I forgot that I should be doing daily, begins to stick. I pray that all of you reading join me on this journey! Email me any prayer requests so that I can stand in agreement with you and pray with you. I love you all and I wish you the best! "Matthew 18:18-20 KJV [18] Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. [19] Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. [20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Love, ChelCy
