We live in a world where we want love, but we don’t know how to love one another. Every person desires to feel loved by someone; be it an intimate lover or just a family member or friend. We all want love. Today I challenge you to give love. Being on the receiving end is easy and effortless; but to shower someone else with love can sometimes become a task. Remember you are not the only person in the universe who desires to be loved. It is okay to love someone else.

There’s this song I listen to by Jason Mraz entitled “Love Someone” -it expresses the joy and fulfillment you feel when you love other people. This song excites my spirit and no matter how I may be feeling that day, the moment I listen to the words of this song, I feel freed. It simplifies the power of love. Even those who don’t want to love you, will love you when you share your love. Enemies wont be able to harm you when you give them your love. Why? Love is what we were all created to do, to be loving beings. I truly believe if love had the power to rule the world like hate does, the world will be a better place.

I encourage you today and every day to show love to someone other than yourself. You never know how much a simple gesture to show someone you love them can change that persons life. Lets make those 3 words we so proudly announce when we’re full of emotion finally have meaning.
